I know you have come to answer the question, "What Kind of Game Do... 'You' Want?".
But, let me add some clarification why I ask this question. I know, it's a tough question, honestly it's an impossible question.
There are a Million "types" of games out there. But; what matters right now I more/less, what you would prefer.
Honestly each person can boil down there own idea of a game like perhaps a FPS, RPG, MMO, Simulator, etc.
The catch is, if all these "genres" weren't a thing.
If you had to describe by exactly what kind of game you would want. I personally would LOVE to have a
Zombie Survival, Open World, w/ 50+ Players, (~4 Player Co-Op), PvP "Players shouldn't be forced into it", Lots of Customization "Character Customization, Weapon Customization, Vehicle Customization, etc.", Lots of Weapons, Clans/Group/Posse/Gang acceptable "Distinguishable from regular players", ABSOLUTELY NO MICRO-TRANSACTION and Buy to Play!, Dedicated Servers, Acceptable to Glitches that make the game "More Fun for Players", a game that actually listened to there players, a 'Forum Based Game'.
Have fun with this, I'm curious to see what you guys/ladies have to say! If you could make the perfect game what would you see?

You might have seen this, you might not have but I suggest you do as it will be as close to what want in a game for now.

Wow, that's absolutely incredible, Something like that is needed to come out at some point! A lot Role Playing is usually put in games as mods, it's great to see that someone is finally making such a game finally!
