Ban/Accounts Issue

I just yesterday got banned on my main account for 2 weeks, now of course with the release of heists tomorrow on GTA, I really want to play heists.
I was reading the Code of Conduct on the site and it says:
Trying to avoid suspension by creating alternate new accounts may result in the permanent suspension of the new user account and a possible escalation of punishment to the original account, all related accounts and any device you are using to connect to the service.
Now I have a second account in which I can play heists( created this account probably over a year ago now) would this still be seen as trying to avoid the suspension and get me permanent on both accounts?
EDIT: Forgot to say that the other account has been on my Xbox One since I got it.

exact same thing happened to me i got banned i don't know why and i didn't even get an email but im still using my second account and i haven't seen anything yet ive only got 8 days left

You should be fine. The first line says "avoiding suspension by creating alternative new accounts"
The account your using was made a while ago, if you get perm banned that wont be right because youre not going against what they said above. You should be fine
