im not ranked yet but everytime I win 2 comp games in a row it gives me a cooldown
its happened once before this. its really annoying and its not like I have been banned for a bad reason it says you will be matched with a skill group but then after the cooldown it doesn't rank me? I just want to know why this happens because its really annoying!

Valve implemented this because everybody was complaining about smurfs or about new players ruining ranked games for the whole team, but more about the smurfs. People who were very good at the game would create new steam accounts and play in a low level game and get a lot of kills. This would infuriate people who were on the other team because they wouldn't have a change at winning.
Once you get your skill group (10 wins) you will not have cooldowns anymore.
