I can't believe out of the great films that have been released in the last year (Interstellar, Boyhood, Gone Girl, Theory of everything, Whiplash, Nightcrawler etc.) That Birdman has won best picture. It's a well acted/directed but totally forgettable gimmick of 'Oh look we can make it look like this was shot in 1 take', It wasn't that funny.. or even that interesting.. and I have seen the 1 shot gimmick in other films such as silent house. The only memorable part is the monologue by Emma Stone. People will be talking about films like Interstellar/Boyhood in a decade, Birdman will be forgotten - just like last 2013's winner Argo was! Needed to vent my rage (:

I personally think that Boyhood should've won the best picture for the oscar just because of the amount of work and thought that went into that movie. #OscarSnubs2015

I watched it and found it rather tedious, not the greatest film I have watched. I would've given it to The Imitation Game, one of the best films I've ever seen.

I thought Boyhood would have suited a technical achievement award more than best picture.
If it was filmed in 1 year then I don't think it would even be considered a good film.

Nightcrawler, on the other hand, had Jake Gyllenhaal's best performance to date, a riveting and interesting story, an exceptional script, and cinematography straight out of Drive.

If any film or actor got snubbed this year it was Nightcrawler and Jake Gyllenhaal.
