No one takes into consideration what you say, because you talk a very large amount of hit in these forums and it's pathetic. We're all a little sick of you tbh. You're making a full out of yourself. The VRAM "issue" you're talking about is no issue, the card still has 4GB VRAM, the last 0.5GB is just a little slower. You're acting like the card is obsolete because it has 3.5GB of sufficiently fast VRAM, as if something like a 2G 280 would be better, lol, just stop. Even a singe 980 handles SoM very poorly at 4k, stop using terrible games to back up your argument. SLI 970s still out-perform a single 980, even at 4k, regardless of the VRAM, that's a fact. Games aren't suddenly going to become self aware and think "Oh no, everyone knows the 970 has weird VRAM, better run shit now".

You realise there is like no card with more VRAM than the 970, right? There's the 290's and 290x's with 8GB, other than the, 4GB is the most VRAM a gaming GPU has. By your logic, 980's aren't worth it because "derp, it only has 4GB VRAM so it's VRAM issue means it won't run 4k." You're so illiterate and un-educated.

I can't believe you're actually trying to argue that because someone said on the internet "ugh, 970 has 3.5GB of faster VRAM so can't run 4k, derp" as if actual literal benchmarks don't count for shit. If you can be shown actual benchmarks of a 970 running 4k with ease and still say "nope, can't do it", then there's no hope for you at all.
