I would personally get a plane and set it to auto pilot to fly around, and when it starts to run on fumes I would go land on the ocean or large river and wait it out.

Incorrect, if you genuinley believe a government in the western world would sanction such a thing you're deluded.

If the purge was real I'd hide like any sane person, I don't think many of you would kill someone. I doubt any of you have the stomach to kill anyone, nor have the emotional stability.

I'd just try to do what I do now, be a kind person and make it through life enjoying it through my actions. Although I'd make secret preparations just in case someone came hunting for me during The Purge hours.
