You are trying to play on a rar client instead of a .jar?

Where are you downloading the servers?

I download them at -- Runelocus
Do you have WinRAR installed?
If you do, just drag it out onto your desktop.

Do you have the up-to-date java installed?

I would try to download another server, preferably one that is very populated.

Right click on that file and press extract and extract it to your desktop.

Try installing the newest version of Java, make sure you have extraced the files, and then run the client.
