so i live in a house were theres solid brick walls and from the router to my desktop there's about eight. i get 3 bars signal and no other networks are interfering as my laptop gets a solid 5 bars. my desktop has the little basic antennas but can i get better ones? iv seen 2bd ones and 16db ones, does that mean anything or not really?

and is this good

ehh move router?

have a "router extender" all it does is get the signal an "boost" it so you can sort of migrate around the brick wall.

just a hole in the brick wall put the router their an both sides have wifi

uhm yea ahah dont bother with things that look weird like the one in the link it looks like it needs a "connection" to boost it maybe look into better routers as well.
or maybe its your service provider

alot of times service providers hold out one alot of connections they use old wires that can only transfer 15mbps an ect .. why? because money is their game.
if you look at some of these European speedtest they are insanly fast

update: got a tp-link powerline extender, should be two units with 2 Ethernet cables in the box. you can buy single ones on there own to add to the network after if you need to.
