So my headset is not working, the volume and mute buttons are functional. I can hear people but when I talk in party chat or game chat it shows that my mic doesn't move. When I unplug The headset it shows that its still plugged in. Please help had this problem for about a week now. I've tried almost everything to try to fix it.

I know you said you have already tried some things but this is all you really can do.
First thing you can do is unplug your headset and plug it back in. if that doesn't work start a new party(starting a new party refreshes connections). Lastly Power cycle your console and then try again. Repeat all of these steps until the headset works, yes its a pain but we all go through it. Note: have others start parties too. their connection may be better than yours and will make your party work better. hope this helps.
