Someone on TTG created this build for me.. I do like it but I need less of a budget. (: Right now I'm aiming for $1,000.. this is a good build but I still need a monitor, which can range $200+.. yikes.
I'm going to be using this for many of the Steam games & Minecraft while RECORDING & Saving ALL of those videos on my PC still. A friend of mine said I needed more.. either Storage or Memory (or both)
Can someone edit this build for me & put it around $1000? Thanks.

Best way is to take off the CPU cooler, use the stock until you can afford a better aftermarket one. If you are planning to overclock get another watercooler if not get a cheap air cooler like the hyper 212 evo.

If you want to keep the performance there, change to a locked i5, and a cheaper non Z series motherboard.

Honestly, I feel water cooling an i5 is an absolute waste. As much as some people may not like the particular cooler the hyper 212 evo will do you just fine even when overclocking. You could also skip getting an ssd to save a little more. While an ssd is faster than a standard hdd it isn't really a necessity.

If this is a gaming rig, your friend is wrong, 8GB RAM is perfectly fine and a 1TB HDD will also be fine. Are you going to overclock? If not, grab a 4460 and cheaper motherboard, drop the cooler as well and that will give you enough to get a decent monitor. If you are, drop the cooler and SSD, then add them later. You might also need to get a cheaper motherboard.
