I don't know if it's just me, or is there a VAST amount of players on Destiny who are obsessed with running around with shotguns every game, every map, every game type. I have yet to see a game (crucible) where there aren't at least 3 people shotgunning the entire game. This just infuriates me, especially when they use the Titan bubble in order to further their shotgun madness. Anyone else notice this, or am I being over dramatic?

As someone who primarily snipes, I can't say that i feel your pain.
But, this is only a problem because a lot of the maps have close quarters situations everywhere.
I guarantee if you play on Skyshock this won't happen.
Also, just keep your distance from people. Don't go rushing into rooms, because you're very likely to be shotgunned.
I still think Auto Rifles are more popular than both shotguns and fusion rifles.
I don't mind 3 out of 12 people using shotguns. I think that's very acceptable. You can't expect everyone to use a primary for the entire match.

Really? Shotguns? I can barely scrape anyone that's 5+ feet away from me, let alone run into a room and get a bunch of kills. I've been killed by Fusion Rifles more often than shotguns, about 2 - 3 times over. Bungie definitely nerfed the shotgun effective range by a lot, so they really aren't a viable option unless you have a high-range shotty or you're really up in someones business and want a quick kill. They definitely aren't killing machines as you describe.
