Ive replaced dashlaunch v3.12 with v3.14 and it will not boot up, I boot xell but it comes up with the segmentation fault; however it boots up fine with my other hard drive. I know how to delete the dashlaunch of my hard drive through modio but I just want to know why it comes up with the segmentation fault as I have never seen it before.
It will be great if somebody could explain this.
Thanks

check your launch.ini maybe you might have to delete dashlaunch and reinstall it

Had this numerous times in the past. always fixed it by reflashing my nand manually. In my case though the segmentation fault caused my consoles to brick. Oh well. If your lucky this shouldn't be your case. I just had a dodgy Jtag installer lol.

Segmentation fault usually occurs when the nand was not flashed correctly or a bad block wasn't remapped correctly. Can also be caused by dashlaunch. All it means is that the console stopped with an error and won't continue in case the error causes a system failure. Imagine a BSOD on Windows. Thats all it is.

sometimes they just turn up. I remember the first time I got a segmentation fault on my original Xenon. I thought I had screwed it up badly but as soon as I unplugged HDD and reflashed with a new nand It was fine. Sometimes it's nand sometimes it's Dashlaunch. Try replacing your launch.ini & replacing all your plugins. see what that does and if it works fine then your good. If not PM me and I'll see what I can do for you.
