This is just a ramble of what has been going on with my Xbox One.

I got my Xbox on Christmas day and set it up just the other day and I can say with confidence I am not impressed. I don't know if all my problems are just results of the hacking that took place on Christmas or Xbox One is just a pile of rubbish.

First thing that happened was with Advanced Warfare it took me about an hour to just get into a game with my friend and still didn't function properly after playing one game (I know this is probably just the servers). I was playing just yesterday and this problem seems to be fixed. However when we were trying to get into the game we were talking in a party and even that wasn't working properly which leads me on to my next point.

Yesterday and today my mic has not been working, It plugs in and shows the little circle which shows that I'm talking but my friends cannot hear me nor can I hear them. This happened to my friend yesterday and was resolved within five minutes by itself.

Also I know it takes a long time to install games depending on their size but I've bought five games and within the two days I've had the Xbox I feel I've barely played for 20 minutes.

Overall my main issue in the mic. It's brand new and was working fine the other day it just doesn't seem to want to work. It just has the stages were it's just a guessing game to whether I plug it in and it works or it doesn't.

The mic is abit dodgy if you don't take care of it. All the server problems are because apparently XBL were DDoS'd, this goes for PSN aswell. The games don't take long if they are disc but if they are digital then it depends on your internet connection so don't blame the Xbox its all on your internet.

Okay thank you. My others installed and updated fine and quickly (GTA and COD etc) but this Dead Rising 3 is taking remarkably longer.

1. Xbox and PSN got DDoS'd (as you may know) on Christmas, making: signing in, joining online games, and joining parties a big pain in everyones butt.

2. The mics are REALLY sensitive with the new model. If you just so happen to pull the cord slightly, you'll be in the store buying a new one. Also, check point 3 addressing a 2nd issue with mics.

3. You can talk, but they nor yourself can hear. There are "Network Errors" happening right now causing the parties to be all out of wack and such, this is caused from Microsofts end and should be resulted soon.

4. Not only does the size of the game matter on timing, but your internet connection is the big factor in determining it. If you have poor connection, expect to be waiting quite some time until you get to play.

Overall, there is just a lot of errors from Microsofts end that will get cleared up soon enough, just give it some time!

Hope this helped you mate, have a good one!

End-

Xbox one party chat has been having problems since the launch of advance warfare, its nothing to do with your mic or consol, when my clan are in a party all you see is them go offline and back online several times until it works lol, I just pull the power lead out and back in and it works everytime

That's because sometimes they are in game chat and not party chat. This has happened to me several times while playing AW, it's just that they are in game chat.
