I'm trying to decide on which one to get. They seem to both be nice phones. Does anyone have opinions on which one is better?

I would go with the 5S, has a finger scanner and is just reliable!

Thanks guys, I was thinking the 5S just wasn't sure about the fingerprint thing. Seems sketchy.

Personally, I prefer the feel and look of the 5.

Internally, I would obviously recommend the 5S.

I've had both and the 5s is the way to go! I only got it because of the faster internals and thought the Touch ID sensor was just a gimmick but now it's broken I miss unlocking my phone with my thumb!

I would get the 5S if I were you. It will probably last you longer and will be a bit faster most likely because I believe the specs are upgraded a bit.

You will also get the touch ID with the 5S which makes things a lot easier.

In more in depth on what Took said, the iPhone 5S is the better choice by far.

There is more processing power in the iPhone 5S, (it is faster and can have more tabs and apps open at the same time) you get the touchID for secure purchases and what not, and the phone will remain updated longer and stay able to continually work with iTunes longer as Apple will sign it longer than older devices.

ive got the 5 and my mum has the 5s we've both had them around a year and her iphone is fine like the day she bought it...mines smashed, the battery life is terrible and the touch screen glitches. Definitely get the 5s!
