Very Recently Lizard Squad Ddosed The Xbox One Servers and PSN Servers...

As hackers go, their technical skills arent bad they managed to carry out a denial-of-service attack on Xbox Live and PlayStation Network that disrupted use of the games at a peak Christmas moment.
But really whoever is behind the Lizard Squad should stick to the digital language of naughts and ones, because when it comes to words well, you be the judge. This is how they marked the launch of their game console hack on Twitter under their holiday-spirited internet handle @F*CKCRUCIFIX:
Lizard Squad began on Wednesday by blasting Xbox Live offline with a DDoS attack that bombarded Microsofts servers with the digital equivalent of shrapnel until they ground to a halt. Then it did the same to Sonys PlayStation Network.
Across the country an almighty howl went up from millions of Americans for whom the joy of sitting in front of a game console for hours on end killing zombies is the very spiritual essence of the holiday season. Some of them had even been given Xbox or PlayStation games for Christmas, and now they couldnt use them the way they wanted!

Yes i can get on but once i sign in it says that xbox service is not available right
now.
Update: as of right now i am online playing gta 5 and everything is working

Hey I'd like to report that I JUST signed into LIVE. I'm on the East Coast of the US, so, just gonna throw that out there.
EDIT: for anyone having problems, here's a good guide;
1) Go to Settings, then Network, then press Go Offline, not Disconnect.
2) Sign into yourself
3) Go to Settings, Network, then go to Go Online.

I can't even get to my settings. All I can do is double tap the home button and snap pointless apps
