So as you all might know, it is very close to Christmas. I still have not gotten my long awaited PC. I would build my own but I don't have time, the items wouldn't ship on time and I don't like the idea of building a PC on christmas day.

So, I am going to buy from a local PCWorld. I have found a PC that looks sort-of decent for gaming and the likes.

The Specs:

APU: AMD A8-5500 APU
OS: Windows 8.1
Hard drive: 1 TB
RAM: 6 GB
GPU: Radeon R7 240

The Radeon R7 240 and the A8-5500 APU are running in Dual Graphics mode I think.

It's the same as

except I think the one I saw was an A8-5500.

The one I saw was also a HP Pavilion.

So, thoughts? Will it run todays games at maybe medium-high setting 1080p?
Also, I might upgrade this in the future to an R7 260X/R9270/R9270X on September.

I personally wouldn't get anything AMD. But it will run a few games on Medium and Low.

Completely awful don't buy it and be a spastic please.

"Don't have time" Took me two hours to build and set everything up and even download a few games.

And no it won't run anything well.

Doubt it can handle CS:GO

For the same price you could build something 10x more powerful.

@Danke Don't be a idiot there is nothing wrong with AMD Components.

That PC isnt ideal for gaming, at all.

Since you don't want to build one im not gonna bother telling you to lol

see if you can order one online from Cyberpower or PCSpecialist or DinoPC etc.., PC's from there will be better than this, or try find someone who can build you a pc, a friend? give them your money and get them to order the parts and build it for you?

If you really want one thats pre built, Id go for Scan3XS. But yes, Building one is the best option.
