I have had a jailbroken device for about 8 months, and as of recent my phone started to crash every time i touch either of the volume buttons or switch my phone to silent. I thought I had done something with activator, but that was not the case.
My phone is a 4s on 7.0.4
Tweaks I am using
If anyone could help me solve this problem, I will +Rep for a couple days.

By crash, do you mean it re-springs and goes into safe mode?

Uninstall the most recently installed plugin and then reboot and see if it happens.

Might be Status HUD 2. It's having a few problems as of late. Try uninstalling and repeating what you did.

That seems to have fixed it! Also, do you know if there are any other tweaks that can do the same thing as StatusHUD 2 that will not make my device re-spring?

StatusVol 2. Using it on my iPhone, works pretty well. Has a few nice options, if you want it displayed like Status HUD you'll need to look for the legacy option in the settings, shouldn't be too difficult.

If none of the downloads are cracked versions then the issue may be winter board or status HUD 2. I had an issue with HUD when my iphone was jailbroken
