Yeah, scary times.
It's now midnight in Sydney and it's still going. Literally been 24/7 coverage all day on most stations.
I just want to point out one thing though, the title is a bit wrong. It's not necessarily "ISIS". The flag displayed wasn't that of ISIS, it was a different flag, believed to have ties with a different group.
Either way, it's likely a Muslim extremist, IS member or not.
All we can do is hope is that it ends peacefully, however I have a bad feeling.
On a positive note, 5 people have escaped, and they have now revised the number to 15 people inside.
Let's hope and pray for the best.

The account on youtube with the name Joel Herat has had 4 videos uploaded which show 1 hostage in each video speaking of the demands that the terrorist want.

They video does not show any violence just one of the staff talking with someone holding the flag in the background.
Joel Herat may just be one of the staff that the terrorist is using to get his demands.

Until we learn what was on that flag, for all we know it could just be "I love cookies" written in arabic.
