Man it's sad but it happens so much. it's because some investigators don't do there job, i remember hearing about someone that had to do jail time also for a murder he did not commit and he ended up having to do time for it, and then found a loophole that saved his life. imagine doing time for something you did not commit. crazy

It is way to common! I hear one of these stories every couple of weeks now

12 Years after being convicted, Law student's took up the case and got him freed! He was orginally convicted after on the basis of particles of gunshot residue, The students were working for the Innocence Project, which was set up to represent people it believes were wrongly convicted.

These cases are becoming more and more reguarly, it's good to see them freed but shows a poor job their doing of actually getting the right criminal.
