So, I'm just making sure but wouldn't a coolrunner rev c solder to the same points as a coolrunner 3 lite? -Trinity mobo-

Yes. But you will have to mess around with the jumper settings.

LK1 - Short (Disable Crystal)
LK2 - Short (Disable 10 Ohm on CPU_RST)
LK3 - Open (C15 Disable)
LK4 - Short 1-2 (300pF on CPU_RST to GND)
or
LK4 - All Open
