Xigyy's build is solid, pretty much what I would have suggested.

But I just can't make this clear enough-
AMD CPU=NO
CiT case=NO.

Intel>AMD. AM3 is dead. I've owned a CiT case and built in several, they suck ass. N200 on the other hand, amazing case.

Right, well as it stands he's ordered the CiT case. I can't really help that but whatever, but what I can help is the fact he's ordering the rest of the parts tomorrow and in his amazon basket I've swapped the 8320 for the i5 4440 and changed the motherboard to the 1150 Gigabyte GA-B85-D2V. Alongside that he's getting the 500W EVGA and the Radeon R9 280, looks like there's a slight compromise on the Case and PSU front however he's at least managed to get a much better CPU and GPU.

The PSU isn't great but it'll do. Just warn him that he'll regret the CiT case.

I agree.

We have got CiT cases in work. My boss says that he likes them because they are so light... Thats not a good thing....

Well...It is for work purposes but for home, you want it to be solid.

The only CiT case I actually like, and in truth this is ONLY based on aesthetics, is the CiT Spectre White. However the black version looks immensely tacky, like all other CiT cases and I wouldn't plan on using it for a serious build.

I myself use the N200 and love it for it's cooling potential and how substantial it is. Either way it's his choice with the case. He'll probably get it in the neck by me and a lot of friends and end up changing it when he has the budget.

Anyway, thanks a lot for the help.
