Well I have a GTX 760 do you think it will last for 8 months? I mean like will it be able to run all the new up coming games at Medium or High settingS?

which type of GTX 760 there is a ton of types.

^ each with the same GPU core but clocked differently.

As newer games come out, you'll find yourself tuning down the settings slightly as they become more and more harder to run.

The 760 is a great card but if your looking at running newer games at high, you should look at an upgrade of a 970

ive had mine for 8ish months and ive pushed it very hard and its holding up fine. Its the EVGA 760GTX

Something you can consider is getting another GTX760 instead of a GTX970 down the line but that would be up to you to research. GTX760's are very cheap now, but it would mean more heat in your case and you'd need a good power supply to power two cards.

Depends on the overall time you spend on your pc really, but on average it should last
