WannaMod242 wrote is Pc gaming getting better than console what are your opinions on this topic?? I would love to see what the gaming community has to say for themselves

console vs pc.... interesting topic here

Both have advantages to them. PC games allow you to communicate by more than just headsets. Having the ability to type to other players is a big deal in gaming. This is one of the main reasons why you find MMOs to be so popular. MMOs may come to to the console sooner or later, but for now, the computing power of the PC and the ability to type out what ever you want will be the deciding factors for the truly in depth grand scale gaming.

on the other side, the console has a very big crowd. last time i checked XBL had over 48 million monthly users - much more than PC games. While I know that XBL comprises of many games, the advantage here is the ability to connect to them. PC is a very niche based gaming compared to the console where many gamers play many games.

PC has the ability to extend the gaming adventure more than the console. The consoles are limited in their ability to push out better graphics and game play (new generations) while the PC side of it is mostly a constant upgrading process.

Most if not all games that i have come across that are made for both the PC and console always reign supreme on the consoles. This is due to the buttom limitation on the consoles that require the PC versions to dumb-it-down to allow the same basic game play on the console. The PC games do not do well when it is based on the 8 buttons of the console.

IMO, it basically boils down to this. More in-depth gaming on the PC side, while the console allows for more networking via a larger client base. Niche gaming vs tried and true. Both have the good and bad.

OtakuBoo wrote It really depends on what games you like to play. PC has way more variety, but can be pretty expensive.

Consoles are cheaper but are limited in features when you compare it to a PC.

PRE-built Pc's are expensive. $1000 for a cheap PC. Some people think you need like $1500 for a god gaming of all games. Nope, I custom built mine and spent $650 on mine and I can run ANY game on max settings. I don't want to get into detail with my specs, but its very decent for gaming. PS4 is $400 and xbox one is $350. I don't want to start a hate war here but if you're a type of guy who enjoys PC and games, then go for the extra mile and get a custom built PC.

All in all, It's all in preference.

Like the above two users I have to agree it is all in your preference. There are certain games that can only be played on certain platforms. It all depends on what you like to do and play.

Personally my preference is the Xbox 360 and One. This is just down to that I've played Xbox for many years and it would definitely take some getting used to when playing on the PC.

I would've said PC Gaming is better.
Just for the sheer fact, there is a wider selection of games.
Mods are easier to get and install, yup.
