Hey guys I'm extremely new to the whole PC building concept and everything. I'm basically just trying to build a halfway decent gaming computer for now. Trying to keep my budget around 600 USD. Peripherals are not needed.
The games I'm trying to play:
League of Legends - Mainly
World of Warcraft - Mainly

DayZ
Minecraft
Forest

If you can go a little over, get this;

If not, swap the 290 for a 280x

Alright, I can probably do that. How well do you think the mentioned games could run on that?

If you bought the R290 you would get around 60 FPS on dayz with high settings. I have a GTX 760 which is similar to the R290 and I get around 60FPS on high settings.
For Minecraft I'm not to sure but around 100 FPS I would think that game more relies on your processor I have a i5 4670k and I get at-least 120 fps

You can't really compare the R9 290 and GTX 760 since the 290 actually beats the GTX 780 in performance.

As for the games, you mentioned, we can't tell you since we don't know what resolution you'll be playing at, but they're all pretty easy games to run. For an example of how well the 290 is, it'll run BioShock:Infinite at 30FPS on 4k. Assuming you'll be using a single 60Hz 1080p panel, you'll be maxing any game you throw at it.
