Is there a way to play music through my gaming headset and still hear xbox game sounds at the same time?

Why don't you want to play the music through your Xbox? It will be the same thing as your PC. You could always adjust the volume too so if you want the game audio to be louder than the music you can make that happen.
I'm not sure if you can have music play from your PC to your headset and have the game audio there as well since part of the cables will have to be in your PC tower and 360 I'm pretty sure. I know you can have the music on your PC go on your Xbox so you could play it through the guide menu but you don't want that.

You can always do what I do put a headphone under your gaming headset get music and your game sounds

buy some turtle beach x12s of off ebay for like $25, thats 25 dollars off. you can plug the green cord into your PC then turn up the game volume on your headset, then boom. It even has a bass booster.
