I think it's a great replacement for RJTAG for those Phat consoles that would require RGH2 otherwise, but for Slims it doesn't seem like enough of an improvement over other much cheaper chips to justify the added cost. I think I'll be sticking to using them as they are requested or on Phats.

For phat RGH1 you can use a brick to glitch those, cheapo Rev C will work fine.

For phat RGH2 this is the one place that I consider CR4XL probably worth the $$$. With a basic REV C or CR3 Lite I can get 30-45 second averages on RGH2 but with the CR4 it was consistently a 1 or 2 pulse boot, with every once in a while a 3 thrown in.

For Slim Trinity the CR4XL does well, same sort of boot average as a phat 1 or 2 pulses with a 3 every now and then, but my problem with using a CR4XL on a trinity is that with just a cheapo rev C I can get a 3-6 pulse average, so why spend tons of extra $$ on the CR4 for just a couple pulses...

For Slim Corona again the CR4XL performs well, but with an ACEv2 I can literally match the performance for like 1/4th of the cost. Not worth it at all in my opinion.

I figured There wouldn't be a reason to change chips... but yes if that is the case with RGH2 phats then I would consider it. I've gotten most Rgh2 INSTALLS down to 5-60secs with the long rst and messing with cr3 lite dips, caps blah blah blah. If it saves me the time finding the best settings that would make a world of difference to me... less time messing with caps and more time moving down the list of orders sounds good to me.

Thanks for the info, btw... I just ordered a few things from your ebay let me know how you do payments since paypal gave you the cold shoulder.

Yea, I will say that for the phats i've done tuning has been way reduced. It's a quick install.

And I saw the order, thanks! Feel free to ping me direct on here and I can give you a better deal outside of ebay (I trust you).

I've already sent the invoice -I'll toss in some extra for being awesome!
