Right people,

I have never played this WOW before and I cant seem to see what the 'addiction' is.
It has never really appealed to me coz im not a proper pc gamer. The thing is deep inside me something has recently sparked an interest in this game, I like RPG games and massive online games and would like to give it ago, i dont fully understand the basics and what exactly the game is about,

Can anyone offer me advice on what this game is about basically, what u do in it, and is it a wise idea to take up

Thanks guys

If you wanted to add my Skype it'd be a lot easier to talk about lol. I dunno about the addiction part, I never really got that into it. I'll usually play frequently for a patch or so and then come back a few months later. Definitely a lot to do in it though, so I could see how it would be.

Well I can explain what got me into the game last year, and even though I don't play anymore it might still be relevant.

The game is a lot more than anyone really realises, and what really appealed for me was the fact there was SO much story to experience and it all changes depending which faction and race you play with. It gets more fun when you have mates who play also, then you can level together and even choose whether you'd like to gear up for PvP or PvE.

As for the addiction that most likely comes from a mixture of the amount of money you spend for the expansions, and monthly subscriptions and also the time you put into it. When the servers reset every week you get access again for the end game dungeons and raids so you get another shot at gearing up to be awesome so that gets you hooked to log on at the reset time.
