Just Got Destiny

Well guys i just got destiny and cant really figure out what to do but i manged to get to lvl 4 but i dont understand how to talk to people or can you and anyone know how to rank up i see all this forms but there all in weird words and i get nothing can someone please direct me in a right path

You can't talk to people unless you are all in a fireteam together.
If I was you, I would keep doing each missions to rank up, going to the tower and getting bounties once they become available. Also doing some strikes once you have ranked up a bit more.

Well better late than never, but to answer your questions:
1. You cannot talk to someone in game chat unless they are in your fireteam.
2. Mainly rank up by doing Campaign on Hard for every level and do every strike. By the end of the Campaign, you should be about 18 or 19. So just play some crucible or whatever you want to get to level 20.
3. After level 20, the only way to level up is by collecting armor with "light". This can be found in any rare (blue), legendary (purple), or exotic (yellow) armor.
The more light you have, the more experience you have, so make sure to upgrade your light armour to increase light.

Im on Xbox One so i guess destiny being my first xbox one game to make friends wasnt such a good idea since i have to be in a like a fireteam with them or something

Once you're a high enough level for raiding (26+), it's really easy to make friends. I'm constantly being invited to fireteams because people need more players to start the raid. I usually make 2-3 new friends per raid I play with randoms, so it's a pretty good way to meet new people -- at least I think.
