My top five this season would be, in no particular order:

1. Parasyte -the maxim-
2. Your lie in April
3. Wolf girl and black prince
4. Gugure! Kokkuri-san
5. Log Horizon

I just find Gugure! Kokkuri-san insanely hilarious and Parasyte just really good so far.

I haven't really been feeling anything this season, I guess I'm just too particular with what I watch.

I wish more dark, gorey anime would come out that don't begin with "Akame" and end with "ga Kill"

i agree with this there is too many lovey dovey anime lets bring out the gore and action!!!

If that's what you want, you should check out parasyte -the maxim-, or Tokyo Ghoul season 2 is out. I highly recommend Parasyte though if you want gore.

I prefer a mix of action, gore and romance like Future Diary. It may have not been the best anime in the world but i liked the ending and it kept me very entertained and wanting to watch more to the very last episode.
