Check to make sure everything is plugged in, and correctly. If you can't see any problems, take it all apart and build outside the case with only the necessary components.
what are the necessary components ? (i'm new to building myself, I just take more time than he seemed to)
CPU, mobo, PSU, RAM and of course, you'll need to put the CPU cooler on. Check if it boots, if it does, add the GPU and boot with the GPU to make sure the GPU is not the issue. Then build inside the case and add HDD and SSD making sure everything is plugged in, and done so correctly.
ok thanks ill have a go at it tomorrow, its late right now

good luck, personally i would not be able to sleep until i figured out whats wrong

If it was my pc i would be the same
