I have had the blue screen error multiple times. Always managed to fix it but what actually is it? Whats the exception that causes it? Simple English please ;)

Go into the start menu
Type "error" and click on "view error reports"

You want to expand critical and double click on kernel power

Send us a print screen of what it shows

Blue screens or STOP errors as they are actually called, occur when the system encounters an error that it thinks it cannot recover from. You can use the options in Computer Management to turn off the function that automatically restarts the system when they happen so you can look at the codes it displays.

It'll normally be near the bottom with: STOP 0X0000008 or something similar. Also it may tell you there is an error with a particular driver or file which is preventing it from operating correctly.

Download a tool called bluescreenview, I've been using it for years, if you're unfamiliar with this sort of thing it will make googling the issue a lot easier as it has a right click option to search the internet for an answer, it also displays exactly what the cause was, which is easy if its telling you a driver file caused from there you just reinstall the software the driver is associated with E.G my AMD GPU driver was messing around and I kept getting a STOP error with this driver as the cause "atikmdag.sys" all i had to do was google "[file name] BSOD" and and the answer was right there, reinstalled AMD GPU drivers and hey presto problem solved, hope it helps you out
