The cable you need for that is the Thunderbolt cable. You should have a thunderbolt port on the right side of you MBA.

Edit:
Since you're going from MBA to TV you might need to get a thunderbolt to HDMI adapter.

It all depends on what your TV supports. Most Televisions won't have a Thunderbolt port. I would say your best bet would be to use a Mini-Display port to HDMI female adapter. This would mean you can plug you Mac straight into your TV via HDMI.

Although, if you have some spare cash, invest in Apple TV. Then you can use Airplay Display and your Mac will jump from screen to screen or mirror from your Mac depending on your preference.

What inputs does your TV support?

If it supports HDMI you could get one of these: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Mark the moderator is the correct one here, I believe Air's don't yet have native HDMI support so you would use an adaptor to convert the output.
