It wouldn't make sense to IP ban, because if you change your IP you could unban yourself, and another person that gets that IP would become banned.

So no, they're not forreal, they're forfake.

After all this time I thought you could get IP banned... hmm, learned another thing today

I think they ban through MAC address or something. I made a topic and someone explained that they ban all consoles connecting to the router's MAC address at the same time or something similar.

I may be wrong, but that's what I got told. Hence why people spoof their MAC address I guess.
