Munstah you aint getting it, he is NOT purchasing it from US as he already has it purchased from the UK

People are talking about purchasing it from the US marketplace instead of the UK marketplace to get the game early.

If you get caught don't expect Xbox to go easy on you.

Can you explain to me how this is fraud

There are a few ways to define fraud but one is using false representation for personal or financial gain. You are also faking an identity online which is also illegal if the reason is unethical.

If I asked you to think about what financial gain you are getting from this, it would probably just go over your head. But the fact you are saving money purchasing the game and of course getting it early falls into the category of personal gain.
i know i have already said this but what if you are from US and recently moved to UK and purchased a xbox one and want to use your US credit card you would need to change your locale right? so using a feature that was purposely put into the console for consumers use is no fraud.
I don't see where this is going, if you previously lived in the US using a US credit card why would you change your locale to the UK if the only form of currency linked to the account is US$. I'm pretty sure every feature on an xbox was "Purposely" put in for the consumers to use but only within ethical reasoning. Would love to see how far that excuse would go if anything were to happen aswell.
Please read what i said again please
Please read my post explaining how it is fraud again or for the first time before continuing to argue.
I have read your post thats why i have replied accordingly you just took 1 glance at what i said then started typing, i was saying if the consumer was to purchase the console in the uk but wanted to use a US credit card to make online purchases on the console he would have to change his locale to US and therefore probably wouldnt change it back to UK and they would be able to play it 3 days early, at the end of the day its a feature that was put into the console to be used and if xbox cared they would take it away people that use the locale feature are not gaining or taking anything from xbox/ea they are most likely losing as they purchased the game.
I didn't 'just take 1 glance and start typing'. Your argument is so weak and it is barely justifiable. I'm not trying to take the debate to a personal side but you seem young by the way you write and how you express your opinion, you obviously cannot see the bigger picture. Let me say this again, you are faking an online identity with unethical intent for personal gain. Plus, with current exchange rates ($ to ) buying a US copy of Fifa and probably fifa points will be cheaper right? Another law broke if you avoid paying VAT on that online purchase to compensate for the modern exchange rates.
Yes i am young 16 infact if you care that much but this topic had nothing to do with purchasing the game with US locale it was about playing it therefore paying VAT so dont start talking **** and actually read what the topic is about before replying.

and you shouldnt care about the way i type maybe if you actually took notice of the subject matter and not the small things like how i type and my age you would actually get somewhere in this arguement.
I feel like I'm losing brain cells arguing with you, I have reiterated my point about 5 times and it still isn't getting into that "brain" of yours.

tldr my argument
Faking an identity with unethical reasoning is illegal.
False representation of (change of locale) for personal gain is illegal. (Fraud)
Changing locale to purchase digital content to then change back is considered "Marketplace Theft" This goes against Xbox's Terms of Service
Making up a scenario with no proof that its true to justify an illegal act (your argument) is illegal.
Purchasing products online from another country with a fake identity (lying about where you live which will result in no VAT being payed to compensate for the exchange rates) is illegal.

Any response from you will not change the facts. I'm not saying that you will get caught but you are breaking the law.

1. When you create your xbox live account you have to enter what country you are from, if xbox had an issue with changing your locale it wouldnt be there, changing your locale isnt giving false identities as there is nothing about your identity thats being changed, your console will use market information from the US instead of the UK therefore displaying everything in $ and different release dates.

2. The topic is about playing the game 3 days early not purchasing the game, (stated previously about 20 times)

3. Same as 2.

4.i wasnt creating a scenario for proof i was giving you an example to why someone would change there locale for a valid reason.

5. once again same as 2.

just after contacting microsoft about it yes you are allowed to do this but the problem is it will cause connection issues, once you change your locale it locks it in for 90 days until you can change it back again

lol no it doesn't. I constantly change my local for certain reasons.

For example, the other day I switched to india to buy fifa 15. then went to US to see if I could download early and then back to UK again all in the space of about 5 minutes.
