Hi, I used to have a JTAG back when MW2 was the latest call of duty out, so quite some time ago. It got RROD so I didn't bother with them until now; I just ordered one from a shop.
Anyway I do some research to bring myself up to date, thinking everything would be simple like it used to be with the .ff files, but everything has changed and I have a few questions because my research is just coming dead.
1. Real Time Cod for MW3, I understand that you can edit DVAR's while in game, but does your JTAG have to be online to make this possible? (in a private match) or can it be used offline in system link mode?
2. If possible to use RTC in system link offline, possible to do infections like the ones in MW2?
3. Is MW2 still moddable like it used to be, when I quit the latest thing was button bind infections.
4. Is it possible with MW3 to use the .ff file? Or did they patch that?
5. What other call of dutys are possible to mod other than Black ops, ie, ghosts? black ops 2?
6. ^ if so how, with rtc or other methods?

2. Yes but only for MW2 or earlier CoDs
3. Yes it is. System link still works
4. No .ff files don't work
5. All CoDs are moddable. You just need to be online and own the correct tools.
6. Other methods are available for more recent CoDs. e.g Black Ops and later.
