i checked the usage on my iPhone today ive got the 4s 8gb and it says bbm has used 1gb does anybody know why its used up so much data i mainly use it on my wi-fi at home so any1 know how i can fix this i dont really want to delete it and reinstall it because ive got up to 600 contacts and cant be asked to add them all again

It's used that data because you put your data on which allowed the app to use it? I don't see what needs fixing.

when you leave the house or your wifi disconnects turn off your mobile data (3g) because it uses it when recieving messages, so just give your friends your mobile number instead to text you sometimes

Usually apps save information that is used on the phone frequently, such as pictures, text and what not.
I would use a program to remove the cached information maybe that will shrink the app usage a bit.

He's talking about memory on the phone not data (such as 3G or LTE).

That could be due to the cache information stored on your phone. Or maybe another problem.

That could be due to the cache information stored on your phone. Or maybe another problem.
i dont know much about phones mate lol how can i clean the cache ?
