Uhhh this is awkward lol... I guess I'm the first to say that I am glad I got this game. But seriously, "over hyped", almost every game today is "over hyped". As far as repetitiveness goes it depends on how much time you've got to spare and the difficulty and the amount of people you play with. I play with a team of 3 friends on hard and we've just been having a lot of fun. Definitely not the easiest game in the world. Just enjoy it and have fun and don't grind for 24 hrs straight.

Ya the campaign was shit. No reason to be invested. why should I give a **** about a city that has 9 npcs in it and no open world. You do the same exact thing every mission, go to unrealistic planet, kill some monsters that have the same models with different levels, hold down x to make your ghost do something, and kill a boss. Tyrion lannister as a **** flying robot is annoying and takes away from the already shit story line. Like what the **** is going on? Hive? Fallen? Darkness? what the **** are these useless things. The pvp is garbage you can't make your own maps, theres no custom game mods, its unbalanced because anyone that has level 20 with great gear will **** you every time, and the pvp isn't even fun to play.

But he is pretty much right >.< the game was way over hyped the story line is so crap borderlands has a better story line

Borderlands might have had a better storyline but that game literally takes 4-5hours to beat every single mission/quest. That game took less time to beat then L4D games.

Destiny might have been over hyped but none of you are even looking at the fact that you guys sound like some people who bought the game, played till level 8 then returned it. You didn't strive for better gear, didn't work towards upgrading your armor and weapons. Most of you sound like people that expected this to be a WoW type game on consoles. NOOOO! this game is not an MMO, no where close to one. And as for the pvp, weapon damage and your Defense stats are all equaled out unless you're in the Iron Banner but I guess that just means you guys might be bad at PvP.

Over hyped

I'm laughing at all the people still complaining about the story line on this same post where it's been explained that the game isn't just for the story line.

Skyrim's "story line" was practically nothing yet no one complains about it being short.

It's about the extra stuff, and then getting more gear, etc. It's meant to be played past the story line.
