So, I built my computer about 2 weeks ago. I've been getting artifacts in almost every game I play. A simple restart of the game is enough to fix it for awhile but that gets quite annoying. I have the latest driver, and have tried re installing it and still the same thing. Anyone know anything that could fix this? And also, if this continues, I plan on upgrading to this card in the future

(4 GB cause I also plan on running more than 1 monitor.)

Thoughts?

What driver are you using? I was using 14.7 for a while untill it gave me issues like bluescreens.

9.14.10.01029 and 14.4

What did you do after it gave you issues?

Went back down to 14.4.

Since then, its been fine. Apart from tearing when the picture changes quickly. Dont think thats a driver issue though

I actually feel like it could be my monitor. Read up some reviews on my monitor just now and others reported the same thing. Not positive though, because I've heard of the artifacting issue with other 270x's also.

Definately check if the card has a factory overclock applied, and if you know how to, downclock the card and see if that solves the issue. If you can plug the system into another monitor or TV then try that.

Temps never get above about 65.. Max voltage being 1.206 and overclocked slightly to 1090 on the core clock and 1435 memory

Even a small OC can cause issues. I would reset the GPU clocks and go from there. If it continues, it is more than likely a faulty card.
