Like i have this friend of a friend, when were playing CoD or halo hes like imma kick this kid offline? like whats the point if his IP refreshes to new? Just to prove that youre the cool guy? like haha have fun reseting? I never understood this. Now it's like every CoD game. theres that one guy who says he is gonna do it...

Is this what gaming has become? Booting people > playing the dang game?

Microsoft has no way of telling if people are booting.

I understand where you are coming from with this. Many people which do DDoS others usually do it during arguments, do it to act 'cool' or to show off, or just simply due to rage (being killed).
In my opinion it is a pretty sad thing to do when trying to play a game legitimately, however it happens all the time and it is a daily occurrence on Call of Duty to hear people saying they will kick someone offline.

Maybe Microsoft could make it impossible for people to resolve player ips whilst on xbox live e.g in a party or a game?

there's really nothing you can do about this its been happening for sense waw came out really not new but there is one thing you can do. google free vpns and make sure they have ddos pretection. it will make it so they can't put your IP and you can't be booted lol but really makes no sense because they just boot the rest of your team and your **** lol 1 v 4 will never work out xD but its good to have because when someone ddoses you if **** up your modem little bit by bit and after a wile your modem will start acting funny like lagging for no reason when you have good internet and after a wile your modem will just not work and your **** lol I know all this because I use to use a booter as a lag switch lol and thats what happen.

You know anything about networking? If he bridges his connection so he's playing via a VPN it'll render his gameplay useless, it'll make it unbearable...
