So I recently updated my dash to the latest so I like I always do, I download the avatar update.

So I did, I put the "$systemupdate" folder on my USB, put my USB in my RGH, power it on and then once it shows the Xbox 360 Boot Logo after a few seconds it shutdowns.

I pull out my USB and boot my RGH, boots perfect.

Anyone have any idea why?

Why bother with all that when you can just connect to live and take the update with out all that nonsense?

Maybe because I don't buy online time that often.
