If if I was you I wouldn't just buy a JTAG or RGH just to host cod its really just a waste. But to answer your question you need stealth files your JTAG needs to be on the current dash and you need to have an unbanned KV but if your going to buy I suggest you learn lots more before buying.

EDIT: you will need kernal 16756 on the system along with the free xbox live logon files to get on and to host on newer cods you will need xbox 360 neighborhood and its plugin along with xrpc tools with their plugins aswell and of course dashlaunch

You'll need the following things:

- Patience
- Ability to learn things you've got no experience in
- Ability to not get frustrated
- LOTS Money to burn
- Time to burn
- Lots of research and reading

Unless you have all of those,

JTAG/RGHs aren't just for modded lobbies.

Please do not get one for just modding lobbies. If you're then I would suggest the cheapest one you could find - Probably an xenon. If you're going to be doing all of the other stuff that will push the RGH to its limits and you will be running it for long periods of time. Then I would suggest getting a more expensive one such as a trinity.

I done the same thing as you wanted on but then i got one and you can host unless you have alot of money for stealth or what ever i bought mine and i have never been online with it becuase there not as easy as they look ive had mine 2 year and still struggle to set up games
