Sometimes it's because of the website.. they automatically give them.. Sometimes it's the program or browser your using..

If you want to get rid of Advertisements then just download Adblock.

Go to the Google Store and download Ad Block. It is completely free. Just download it and it enables itself. You can hide it also by right clicking it.

Other than that, you might have malware and need to run a scan, do not use AVG or anything like that or it might not pick it up. Just get a free anti-malware program.

To block them from being seen by you, use what Brigand said here:

Brigand wrote I had this problem before.
1. Press Ctrl, alt, delete
2. Click on "Task Manager"
This should appear.
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

3. Click on the services tab located at the very top at the end.
4. Search for the name of the ad that keeps popping up and right click it.
5. Select stop and then refresh the page.
6. The ads should be gone.

To get rid of them completely, use what I said here:

AR15 wrote To remove them go to:
  • Start menu
  • Uninstall a program
  • Then find something on there generally near the top of the list that you do not remember installing
  • Last but not least, uninstall it.
