I purchased an Xbox 2 days ago, however it has the ever so popular 'disc tray error', where no matter what you do it says 'open tray'. I've taken my Xbox apart, removed the disc tray and the actual problem isn't the laser it's the fact the disc just doesn't spin? Any solutions? If not.. And I buy another Philips BenQ VAD6038 disc drive do you simply replace it by unplugging the original disc drive and slotting the new one in its place?

(Sorry , new to dismantled consoles etc!)
