Okay so if I bought mincraft on my laptop would I be able to install it on my new pc like if I downloaded
It would I just have to log into my account please help?

yes when you buy minecraft you can use your login on any other pc. you just sign into your account on your new pc and download and play but you will not have the same resource packs etc.
