Ok so i want to buy a new graphics card but even though it is compatible the dimensions on it don't fit on my motherboard.

The graphics card is 23cm long but my ram slot is only 17cm away from the edge so i don't think it will fit.

What should i do?

Do i need to find a smaller graphics card or would it be better to get a whole new motherboard?

Or can i take out the 1 ram slot it overlaps?

This is the motherboard i have.
It came with the computer.

When i measured the graphics card will overlap the ram clips.
Will this be a problem?

Thanks!

No it will not be a problem, just be sure to put the ram in first or you could get a bigger motherboard. If you put your build here I could better help you with a new one if you want.

I got it like 3 years ago at Christmas and since i only really used to play games like minecraft it was ok but recently i have been playing games like arma 3 and dayz and its quite slow on games like that. Around 30 fps on low/mediums settings.

the only thing is that the 270x being a newer card that mobo is not gonna be able to give it the speed it needs. those this preform best on pci 3.0 and alittle worse on 2.0 if u dont have ethier i would suguest not getting it as your wont be able to get all the performance out of the card
