Hello, i was wondering if i could jailbreak my iphone 5, it's running on 7.1.1

Any help or advice would be great and i'll happily give +rep for useful answers, oh and could anyone link me to a video if i can jailbreak my iphone.

Yes their is a way to Jailbreak your iDevice, download the program Pangu v1.0 and ou can jailbreak from there.

Thanks guy's!!! And why don't you recommend doing it :/ i've done it to my iPad but I'm not sure about doing my iPhone since it's on a contract and i don't wanna mess it up etc.

yes but it wouldn't be a good idea, you void your warranty & it doesn't always go right.

He's right it "voids" your warranty but all you have to do is restore your phone before you take it in to apple. They'll never know you jailbroke it. Btw if you ever do that don't tell the people that work there that you restored your phone because of the jailbreak. Just keep quiet. But I recommend jailbreakinf mine is perfectly fine

I hate people that says this. You obviously have never jailbroken a device before. If for some reason you need to bring back your phone for repair, make sure before you bring it in to restore your phone. (Itunes > Restore). You wouldn't return food that you bought last year expecting a refund because you didn't eat it and it's not good anymore right?

Also "it doesn't always go right", really? First, this is why we invented backups, and if you don't do anything stupid and you follow directions you shouldn't encounter any problems.

TL;DR My 5s has been jailbroken since 7.0.4 (now on 7.1.2 jb) works like a charm never had any problems with it. PM me if you need any help.
