I know exactly how you feel.

I used to do all my homework when I first started highschool, around age 11. When I turned 13/14 I stopped doing it. Teachers weren't too happy about it, but eventually stopped caring.

So if you don't like it, don't do it. They'll stop caring eventually.

Sounds like a bit of a brat thing to do but it's worth it. Listen in class and you'll be all good.

I've since left school though.

Everyone hates doing homework, but that's life, some things you just have to do, I currently have 3 jobs, I wish I could go back to school with homework, looking back it was easy. Just get on with it, you should get better grades if you do, and one day you may actually look back and appreciate your teachers were not punishing you just to spite you but for you to get the best grades you can. I used to argue and not do homeworks, but it came back around and bit me in the ass.

Homework is basically the only reason I failed classes when I was in middle school/high school. I never felt like doing it and I never did. I always did great on the tests without the need to study. I'm glad I haven't had to deal with any for the past 3 years.

I am at university and everything is optional, it just means that if you slack and fail you need to resit everything the next year, so I tend to do the homework.

I hated it in school though, they used to send letters to our parents at my school if you didn't do it twice in a row, you could even get kicked out of a class for not doing it.

JohnnyUK wrote I overall hate Homework.

Why? It is not a optional thing. If you do not get it done, you get punished.

This is what I hate.. You should not be punished if you chose not to do it.

Want extra learning? You can always revise when you feel you need to.

Some homework is easy, but weather it is easy or hard, you will get punished if you do not do it.

What do you think?

sounds like you really need to do your homework as you used the word "weather" which is the weather is cold outside, instead of "whether" as in the teachers don't care whether or not i do my homework. Like most teens today, i don't want to do homework i don't want to go to school, and then complain when they are in their 20's with no job living at their parents place.

man up to your responsibilities in life and just do it and get on with life. There is no reason for homework to be hard as you are taught everything you need to know to do that homework in class. So it just goes to show that you obviously don't listen in class.

You don't really get punished for not doing it at my school. I'm going into 12th grade after the summer, by that time the teachers don't really give a shit if you do it or not.

The only real assignments that I usually do are Summer Assignments, which you get a lot if you take AP classes.

When I was in school, I never did mine. Never went to the detentions. Teachers would always say to me " If you don't do your homework you'll end up failing your class " still never did it. Ended up dropping pure A's and some B's in all classes. Went back to teachers and they said nothing.

Homework is a useless thing to do. If you want to revise, revise. Don't be forced to do it since it will put you off.

I find homework pretty important, not just because of the content of the homework, but to teach you discipline and success in making effort. The school should have a system that allows you to complete the homework in class though, so you have the day off when you return home.
