First off, my GPU is an AMD Radeon R9 270x, my CPU is an AMD FX 8320. I can play Single Player perfectly no lag at all and a perfect 60 FPS! But as soon as I go on multiplayer I lag, and you guys are probably thinking it's lag like on Call of Duty or something like that but it isn't. My mouse and everything responds as soon as I move it so it isn't mouse lag, and the weird thing is if I put my settings on Very Low I get the same amount of lag as I do when they are on Very High. Another thing is I will lag in some areas, but then a few hours later I won't lag at all in that area so I have absolutely no clue on what it could be! If you guys have any idea, suggestions would be great! Thanks

Either it's the servers you're joining, as if the serverbox the server is being hosted on is bad it'll cause FPS drops on the player's end and desync.

It can also be the antihack the server is running, I used to be the head admin of an island life community, and one day the owner decided to add a horrible antihack which put the server under too much pressure, and resulted in horrible fps for most players.

Too much objects in a zone can cause FPS drops and desync.

High ping in ArmA, can also cause low FPS, I have no idea why. The ArmA engine is a very bad engine, but it's a great game.

(To any scrub who may post later, no, it's not his system, it can easily max out ArmA)

Alternatively, you may want to update your Drivers / DirectX just to check unless you already have.

Zombiemod, you have no idea what your talking about his GPU + CPU can't easily max it out.

I have the exact same GPU + CPU and our CPU doesn't perform that well on arma games because we have 8 cores that are not as strong as intel cores... ARMA's engine only utilizes 2-4 cores of our cpu and if all of our cpus cores are not being used it's not that strong.

If we had INTEL cpu's it'd perform a bit better depending on the CPU. There's nothing you can do, graphic settings won't change anything because the issue is related to your CPU your GPU is fine.
