I ordered a laptop a few days ago that comes with Windows 8.1 pre-installed. Now, I hate Windows 8 with a passion, and I have a windows 7 Home Premium disk that I bought a few years back. Is there anyway for me to rid the laptop of Windows 8 so I can install Windows 7?

Just put the windows 7 disc into your computer and install it. Simple.

I have been using Windows 8.1 for months now and love it. The speeds are fantastic. You should learn to live with it and life will be much faster. 7 is so slow to me now.

Install Classic Shell to make 8 function like 7, but better.

Just like if you were to re-install Windows 8 (if you had a problem), you just need to put the disk back in and choose the install option.
