Hey guys, my parents just let me know what my budget for my first car is; $30,000. I don't know if this is good or...? Now, I'm just saying this right now, I am not going to be that reckless idiot that you all are thinking right now. I'm actually responsible and capable of making decisions, unlike others that are my age. I just want a safe, practical car that has looks. Well, anyways, we're planning on buying a car sometime within the next 1-2 months. I have a preference towards luxury sport cars. Right now I was thinking either an Infiniti G37, a Mercedes C250/C350, or possibly a Camaro. I was just looking for some input or other suggestions under that budget

Well... All I can say is that a $30,000 budget for your first car is a little too much, and dangerous as well. I don't necessarily know any cars that might fit your preference, but if I was in your situation, I'd buy a 10-17K car, and use the rest to upgrade it.

first car? $30,000? go home you're drunk.

you don't need a flashy car for your first car or a fast one for that matter unless you want wrapping round a tree in your 1st year.

30k for your first car.... lmao.
That't just a bit too much IMO.
That's really good, I would go for safety though not looks as it's your first car.

The thing you dont want to do it buy the 30k car and then pay out so much for the insurance as you wont be able to afford it

You guys are a bunch of dicks. My first car was 37k and i haven't gotten a single ticket, pulled over, or in an accident. Some parents like there cars and trust there kids with cars. These comments you guys are making are so ignorant. If your parents have a good record, insurance wont be bad. I pay $100 a month for my car. So please, for the love of god, stop hating just because you're jealous.

My first car was a 1997 Pontaic Bonneville, I paid $2,000 for it and I still have it. it runs just as good as any new cars, I love it.
